Hello everyone!
You might be wondering, “Peacock Learning Academy? What’s that?” Well, you’re not alone. I’ve had parents call and ask if we’re a franchise because they’ve never heard of us. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Sejal Dave. If you’ve checked out our website, you probably know that I used to be a public school teacher for over a decade. Recently, I made the bold decision to leave my teaching job to open a childcare center in your community. It wasn’t an easy decision; it was definitely a huge leap out of my comfort zone.
Why Peacock Learning Academy?
Throughout my years in the classroom, especially post-COVID, I noticed a concerning trend: students were falling behind academically, struggling with social and emotional development, lacking independence and self-regulation skills, and facing challenges with language and communication. These observations were alarming.
I firmly believe that early learning lays the groundwork for lifelong success by nurturing important skills and abilities from the very start. This belief inspired me to create Peacock Learning Academy, a place dedicated to fostering these crucial early skills.
Our Mission
At Peacock Learning Academy, we are committed to providing a nurturing environment where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Our goal is to support children in developing independence, self-regulation, and effective communication skills. We aim to bridge the gaps that many children have experienced, especially in the wake of the pandemic.
